In old age, people in Nepal were believing that keeping the abstract of citipati at home would protect evil from getting inside the house.
This hand sculpted mask has been crafted by the Newari woodworking artisans in the Bhaktapur district of Nepal. The aged tools have been used to produce this wooden mask enhancing the cultural crafts of Nepal. The skull jewels and the hand paintings on this mask are expands the Nepalese tradition.
This unique handmade mask measures 40 centimeters tall, 30 centimeters wide and 17 centimeters depth, approx. Similarly, to make it easy to put on the wall, this wooden wall hanging mask has a hook on its back. Traditional wood carving technique have been used to produce this mask.
